What a fabulous afternoon of PE in the sunshine! Cricket, football and a little bit of netball. We all had a lot of fun!
In our Computing lessons we have been using Scratch. We have learnt about variables and how they work within a computing program. This afternoon we had another lovely lesson. We became game designers and created a 'catching game'. Well done Year 6!
We had an amazing afternoon on our maths trail at Barnes Park!

This week, we have been at SafetyWorks and learning about keeping ourselves safe in our daily life. We had an amazing time!
We had a fantastic afternoon with The National Gallery. We explored Canaletto's artwork and used the colours to inspire our own. We got many compliments and did our school proud!
Year 6 have had a great week writing alternate versions of Little Red Riding Hood. We then went to Year 1 and read our stories aloud.
In Year 6 music, we have been using keyboards to compose our own tunes based on the Solfege scale.
The Year 6 classes came together for an autumn walk to Pod Park. The purpose of the walk was to explore the autumn scenery, which will inspire our English writing later in the week.
Year 6 had a fantastic afternoon of gymnastics with Tanya. Various stations were set up around the hall, allowing the children to practice and learn new gymnastic skills.
Larch class have had a very busy first full week back in school. The class have settled in very well and are approaching their work with greater confidence.
