Children in Need

Friday 17th November 2017

We have decided that we would once again like to support Children In Need. The national theme for this year is “Spotacular”!

This year Children In Need will take place on Friday, 17th November, 2017. To help raise money for this fantastic charity, we are inviting the children to come to school in non-school uniform dressed with spots, in exchange for a £1 donation. A prize will be rewarded to the child in each class who is the most creative with their spotty outfit. If your child does not wish to dress up, then they could wear Children in Need clothing or Pudsey ears to show their support.

On the day we will be selling Children in Need wrist bands. The wrist bands will cost £1 each and will be sold at playtime on a first come first served basis.

To further help the fundraising this year, we will be collecting the old round pound coins which went out of circulation on the 15th October this year. If you have any of the round pounds then please bring them into school.

On the afternoon, each class will be holding a Pudsey Party. Parents and carers are welcome to come into school from 2.00pm to join with their child and participate in fun in Children in Need activities or join in the party. If possible, please could you bring a small item of food to donate to the class party. We will also collect any loose change you wish to donate to the Children in Need Charity.
