It is just incredible how quickly time is flying by and we still have so much to do this term! All our visits and events for this year have been finalised and Sports Day has been planned.
Summer Term Visits
Each class will be going on an end of year educational visit. Information about the planned visits have been posted on class dojo and on the school website. You should have also received an online consent form for you to complete. If you have not received one, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s class teacher or myself and we will send you another one.
Music Concert
On Friday 15th July we will be hosting a music morning. Each class will hold a 30-minute music concert, where children will have the opportunity to showcase what they have been learning with Les and Jen in their music lessons this year. Class timings for this event will follow.
Sports Day
Sports day will take place for all children in Reception to Year 6 on Wednesday, 13th July, 2022 on the school field at 1.15pm. The children will be organised in their class and they will take part in a rotation of races and multi-skill activities. Children will wear their school PE kit. Please ensure your child has trainers/outdoor sport shoes in school on this day. Assuming we are going to be fortunate with a hot sunny day, please also ensure your child has a sunhat and that you apply any sun cream before coming to school on the morning. The children will be provided with drink during the course of the activities.
Parents are warmly invited to spectate. Due to the nature of the event, moving around the field to watch your child will not be allowed. All parents must watch the event from the top field/grass verge.
Year 6 Leaver’ Assembly
We would like to invite the parents/carers of Year 6 children to join us for a Leavers’ Assembly. This will take place on Thursday, 21st July, 2022 at 10.00am. It will undoubtedly be a lovely assembly to say goodbye to the children, as they move to secondary school.
Last Day of Term
The last day of term will be Thursday, 21st July, 2022. School will be closed for all children on Friday 22nd July.
