London 2024 Residential - Day One

Our three-day school residential in London began with an early start, departing from school at 6am. The children were excited as we boarded the coach, greeted by our lovely driver who set the tone with a fantastic playlist of 'cheesy classics' that had both children and staff singing along. Our journey was broken up by a delightful lunch stop near Watford, where everyone stretched their legs and refueled. By 1pm, we arrived in London, ready to embark on our adventure.

One of the highlights of our first day was undoubtedly the London Eye River Cruise. As we sailed along the Thames, we marveled at iconic landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London, and Tower Bridge. The cruise provided a perfect introduction to the city's rich history and stunning architecture. Following the cruise, we experienced London from above with a thrilling ride on the London Eye, offering breathtaking views of the cityscape.

Our day concluded with an evening meal at the Hard Rock Cafe, where we enjoyed delicious food surrounded by music memorabilia. Our first day in London truly unforgettable.
