Maths Everywhere

Maths is everywhere around us! It plays such an important part of our daily lives often without us even realising. At Thorney Close, we work really hard to make sure that every child not only understands each new Maths skill they learn, but also enjoys the subject.

To celebrate everyone's hard work in Maths so far this year, we will be ending this half term (Friday 21st) with activities devoted to all things number!

As well as lots of fun math activities in their classes, the children can come to school wearing a maths related outfit. This can be anything from a homemade t-shirt covered in numbers to their favourite numbered football shirt.
