Strike Action on the 1st February 2023

Dear Parents/Carers,

The National Education Union have declared four strike action days, the first of which will take place on Wednesday 1st February 2023. I’m getting in touch to give you as much notice as possible about our arrangements for Wednesday 1st February.

On Wednesday 1st February the following 7 classes will be closed:

• Beech
• Oak
• Sycamore
• Larch
• Cedar
• Spruce
• Hazel

On Wednesday 1st February the following 3 classes will be open:

• Saplings
• Willow
• Poplar

If your child’s class is closed on the 1st February due to strike action, please note that their absence will not be recorded as an absence on their attendance record. However, if your child’s class is open any absence will be recorded in the normal way.

If your child is eligible for a free school meal, your child will be given a packed lunch from the school at the end of the day, on Tuesday 31st January. The school office will be contacting you via Class Dojo in a separate communication, to let you order the preferred meal option.
