Sumdog Maths Contests

This month our school has been entered into both the local and national Sumdog Maths Contests where they will be able to use their calculation skills to compete against other schools in Sunderland and the country!

Throughout the contest week (4th - 10th National and 18th - 24th Local) students will be able to participate from school and home by visiting .

Whilst playing a range of Maths based games, your child will be asked questions based on their number knowledge, calculation skills and problem solving.

For every question that your child answers correctly, they will earn 1 point – all of which can add up to earn our school a place in the league tables. These contests are a great way for your child to practise whilst possibly earning our school that winning spot!

In order for your child to participate in the challenge, they will need to use their personal login provided by their teacher. If playing, please ensure that the activity panel on the student homepage, third panel from the top on the left, is set to the contest to allow their participation to contribute towards their contest score!

Good Luck!
