World Book Day 2024

It is nearly time for World Book Day! This is a fantastic day to celebrate children’s literature and develop our love of reading.

This year, we would love to invite parents and carers to join us for a craft session where you can make a paper plate book character with your child. Teachers will be in touch with your date and time slot which will be held during the week of 4th March.

It would be amazing to see you all and join in some creative fun! All materials will be provided by school unless there is something particular you would like to use.

On Thursday 7th March, the children can come into school dressed as their favourite book character if they wish. Please do not feel that you need to go and buy something new for this- any old costumes, creative homemade t-shirts or just normal uniform is also fine.
