School Day

School Gates & Arrival:

The main school gates, supervised by leadership, open at 8:40am. Children may enter classrooms from 8:45am, which is the official arrival time. Free breakfast is available for all children during this time.

Lessons Begin: 8:55am
School Ends: 3:15pm
Required Hours: 8:45am – 3:15pm

*Key Stage 1 children have an afternoon break.

Nursery & Two-Year-Old Provision:

Children in Nursery and Two-Year-Old provision follow shorter sessions to suit their age and needs.

Wraparound Provision

For families who need childcare outside normal school hours, we offer Early Birds and Night Owls clubs:

Early Birds:

• Monday to Friday from 7:30am
• Cost: £3.00 per day
• Breakfast is provided in class

Night Owls:

• Monday to Thursday until 5:30pm, Friday until 5:00pm
• Charges depend on collection time:
• Collection before 4:30pm – £3.00
• Collection after 4:30pm – £6.00
• Friday session – £5.00
• Children enjoy games, books, puzzles, arts & crafts, and a snack

Change of Collection / Emergencies

Please inform the school office if:

• A different adult will collect your child
• You are likely to be late
• Any other changes to usual arrangements

Office hours

The school office is open from 8:15am to 4:00pm each day to support parents and carers with queries.

At busy times, office staff may be away from the desk (for example, accompanying a child, meeting with parents, or supporting a visitor). If we are unable to answer your call straight away, please:

• Leave a message on the answer machine – these are checked regularly throughout the day.
