After a fun morning of writing, we took our books outside and soaked up the sunshine in the sensory garden!
We've had a wonderful afternoon playing with the Pro-Bots. Mrs Jones even popped in for a chat with the birthday girl!
Enjoying the sunshine with some yoga! This term, Year 5 have been working on their yoga skills every Monday. We can really see the improvement in their strength and especially in their balance!
We took the new mini bus for a spin! We spent the morning walking up to Penshaw Monument. After that, we headed down to Herrington Country Park and saw the swans gliding across the lake. We can't wait for our next adventure!
In Sycamore, we dove into the fascinating world of plant reproduction! We learned all about how flowering plants reproduce and labelled the different parts of a flower and described how each part plays a role in the reproduction process!
We had an amazing Red Nose Day with an 80's themed day! From our neon leg warmers to big hair and funky outfits, it was an unforgettable blast from the past! We did so many fun activities before ending the day with our 80's disco. What a lovely day!
What an amazing time we've had celebrating World Book Day! We loved dressing up as our favourite characters and diving into our favourite stories. We can't wait to continue our reading adventures!
We've had an arty week in Sycamore! We had Watercolour Wednesday and some Children in Need fun.
We had a busy afternoon planting some spring bulbs!
