Sketching
We made the most of the lovely spring weather - sketching outside.
STEM
What a fantastic STEM morning with teachers from Sandhill View! We created our own businesses and took on roles like the CEO and accountant! We then used our designing and engineering skills to create a raft which could float and allow vegetables to be grown on top in case of a flood!
Liquids and Gases
In Science we had lots of fun carrying out our experiment and learning about solids liquids and gases!
Probots
We used Probots and programmed them using special commands to draw different shapes.
Dance
Year 4 are lucky enough to have the opportunity to take part in a dance competition in March. This is our first practice session with our wonderful instructor Emily.

'Caged Bird' by Maya Angelou
We have read our new poem called the 'Caged Bird' by Maya Angelou. The children had fun using their chromebooks to research about her life as well as writing a letter from the point of view of being a caged bird.
Yoga
Year 4 had a great time trying Yoga for the first time! Everyone had a lot of fun and felt very relaxed.
